Agreement

By using the site, creating an account, buying from the shop, or joining African Peoples Club, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

We provide podcast episodes, articles, webinars, a shop, and the African Peoples Club member area. Features, schedules, and available content can change. We may pause or remove parts of the service when needed for maintenance, security, or operations.

Podcast conversations, courses, and community material are for education and discussion. They are not legal, financial, medical, tax, or other professional advice. You are responsible for your own decisions.

Accounts

• You must provide accurate account information and keep your login private.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.
• This service is not directed at children under 16. Do not create an account if you are under 16.
• We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, abuses the community, or creates a security risk.

African Peoples Club

Membership is offered in tiers (Foundation, Builder, and Inner Circle). Higher tiers include the access of the tiers below them. Billing is monthly, quarterly, or yearly through Stripe, depending on the plan you choose. Prices shown at checkout are the prices that apply to that purchase.

All membership sales are final. We do not offer refunds once a payment has been successfully processed, whether the plan is monthly, quarterly, or yearly.

You can stop a subscription from renewing through Stripe billing or the member billing tools. You keep access for the period you already paid for. When that period ends, access ends and you are not charged again unless you subscribe again.

Member community spaces, including Discord, are shared. Harassment, hate, threats, spam, and sharing other people’s private messages or details without consent are not allowed. We may remove content or access that breaks those rules.

Shop

Merchandise in the shop is sold and fulfilled through our store partner. The checkout terms presented there apply to those orders, in addition to these terms where they do not conflict.

Acceptable use

• Do not misuse the site, attempt to access accounts or systems you are not allowed to use, or interfere with the service.
• Do not upload or post unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.
• Do not copy member-only material or republish our episodes, courses, or downloads except where we clearly allow it.
• Do not use the community to run unapproved promotions.

Our content

The podcast name, site design, episodes, articles, and member materials are owned by The African Man Podcast or our licensors. You receive a personal, non-transferable right to use the service. You do not receive ownership of our content.

If you send us a message, guest application, or other submission, you give us permission to use it to respond and to operate the podcast and related programs, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Third-party services

Payments run through Stripe. Hosting, accounts, and some content delivery use other providers described on our Privacy and Security pages. Links to YouTube, Spotify, TikTok, X, Discord, and other platforms leave our site and follow those platforms’ own terms.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided as available. We do not promise that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for decisions you make based on podcast or membership content. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer protection laws give you and that we cannot waive.

Changes

We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date below will change when we do. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the revised terms. If you have a paid membership, the billing and cancellation rules on this page at the time you subscribed still apply to that paid period.
